Lemuel Marshall was a Private in Company K of the 7th NJ Infantry. He enlisted on March 22, 1862 as a 3 year recruit. Unfortunately, he died only nine months later at the Douglas US Army General Hospital on November 1, 1862. There is no record of what he died from.
He is buried in the US Soldiers’ & Airmen’s Home National Cemetery in Washington, DC.
