The 2D New Jersey Brigade
Headquarters incorporates the portrayal of all the elements of a Civil War
period Headquarters structure. This includes an overall Brigade Commander,
Adjutant, Ordnance, Quartermaster,
Medical, Provost, Chaplain, Signaling,
Pioneers, or any other appropriate staff impression. Thus companies
within the 2d NJ Brigade, as well as associated units, can be provided a
field command structure that will encourage individual unit identity while providing
an overall field command and support services structure. New Headquarters
impressions for the non-combantant are always welcomed.

Because the members and associates of the 2d NJ Brigade are located throughout
New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Delaware, we are also available
to help coordinate a wide variety of events and activities including overall event
management. The Brigade currently manages the reenactment activities at
Museum Village (Monroe, NY), and FosterFields (Morristown, NJ).

We have also
been asked to manage other reenactments, commemorations,
and living history events
as our reputation as a fair minded, independent, non-profit, and safe organization continues
to grow. We believe that each reenactment should be historically accurate,
education, safe, and enjoyable for both the public and reenactors, and
that we should not profit monetarily from the labor of our fellow reenactors!
